HELP ASAP Hash oil

made about an oz of some oil from trim but tours the end the pyrex bowl shattered wtf? so do i now soak my broken pyrex glass in cold water and the tris will float up n i jus skim the top? not to sure kinda lost, ne help would b epic im working on it right now. thanks your looking and if you help it will def be worth it. mahalos -Jay

I don't think that I would do the water. I would scrape the larger pieces of glass and the smaller ones I would put back in the chamber and run butane or iso (whatever ur using) thru it again. The filter will keep the glass out. Just an idea, I've never done it.

yea do another extraction using the same method u used before. except this time ur not using trim, ur gonna used crushed glass coated in oil.
cold water wouldnt remove the oil, maybe boiling hot water but i wouldnt do this. some reason i think u broke the pan when u placed it in cold water after u were heating it up on the stove with alcohol in it.

Get some everclear and use that as your solvent to remove any excess on the sides and then let it evaporate and you will have some nice oil.
You can scrape it down and just run it through a filter

Moonshine is better but everclear any day over a sustance that you should not ingest.pure alcohol is better in my opinion. Same procedure.....different solvent



Edit- Never made it with rubbing alcohol - made it with isopropyl type -

Def best to filter that glass out. Don't want to ingest some of it by accident.

Don't use rubbing alcohol, use 99% isopropyl alcohol, it's much less toxic.
Even better (if you can get it), use pure ethanol.

Rubbing alcohol is just another name for the isopropyl alcohol. Moonshine though. That's a thought. You could re-collect the alcohol in the evaporation process and drink up. Nice.
