HELP!!! BUG ATTACK!!!! PLus Weed growing wild???????

Growing outdoors in an abandoned hay field. Sea of green, plenty of plant species. How do I keep bugs from chewing on my AK-48?????

Also what is this growing wild on the right ..............false aralaia??????

It looks like false aralia or a close relative. I have seen these in the woods. Your plants are so BLUE! Amazing color. Grow some garlic and marigolds. I plant garlic right next to my plants. No ill effects, and it seems to discourage bugs. You could spray them periodically with Neem but some plants are kind of touchy about it, so judge for yourself. It wouldn't hurt to spray them with a fairly weak insecticidal soap every few days if you can. It won't bother them as long as you don't mix it too strong.

Awesome.... Thanks alot. Would it help fo rnow to put raw garlic cloves down in the area to help discourage bugs\???
