i understand how to make the rez

but how do you hook up the rez to the 3 buckets so its constantly level
im assuming you make the rez higher ans use gravity?

they do not show close pictures on the site for obvious reasons so if somehow could share how they built there system i would appreciate it

This is what I do, I have 12 buckets in my room, outside my room is one control bucket, in my control bucket(where the water level obviously stays the same as my other buckets) there is a pump, and there is a coil from my water chiller(DIY made by me and works great so far) pumps water to a 6' length of PVC, and off there it splits up to 12 feed lines. Pump stays on 24-7 recirculating the nutes.
There are tutorials out there, make it yourself for CHEAP.
Another thing you might want to add, an external rez (like a trash can or rain barrel) and you can put a float valve in your control bucket so that it gets auto topped off and maintains the water level. This is what I plan on doing next, as I see problems at the very tops of my roots that are out of the water when the level drops. Some say it is beneficial to let the water level fluctuate. I don't find that in my setup.

I made my own 4 bucket rdwc set up,I used 4 square kitty litter buckets an 18 gal tote for a res and a pump to recirculate the nutes.mine just flows from the res to my first bucket and then to the next bucket etc. I have them set in a square,if you do this make sure you have a bigger line out of your your first bucket than you do going in,my first set up was all 1/2 line and it couldnt move the water fast enough so I added another 3/4 line out and it works good now I have a ball valve on the in line of the first bucket to control the flow,my pump is bigger than what it needs to be but I had it sitting around and used it,theres a few differant ways to do it do a little research and get some ideas before you start. good luck

now that i re read the description they dont even mention a pump

do you think they just have individual flood lines from each bucket to the rez

that you controll with a drain valve?
