I am using the FF trio for my dwc and am having similar problems. Pics here. I think the FF feed may be too strong or something. I have been trying to understand why but haven't gotten anywhere. Mine look very similar but mine is more brown/crispy around the tips and edges.

Lay off the nutes.

To be healthy they don't need a lot of nutes. A plant with no nutes besides whats in the soil will always look better than an overfed plant. Hydro is no different; plants will get overfed.

Take it easy on those girls, pushing nutes on them makes them unhealthy and leads to reduced growth (which isn't what we want.) Another problem can be the health of the microbial ecosystem near the roots. Beneficial microbes make it easier for plants to take up nutrients and they promote healthy growth. Try just feeding them compost tea for a couple days with no fertilizer.

there mixes are hot. like many others. i suggest getting a ppm or ec meter. ec is easyer to use and is universal unlike ppm all brands have their own conversion. i had to learn the hard way because i have a hanna ppm and it displays the lowest numbers of them all. so i also noticed i was overferting my girls. luckly i was a member here and found my way. also i dont think i would of had such a fast recovery without the Bushdoctor sleghammer its for nutrient lockout and healing the root zone. had picked it up just incase. my plants bounced back within hours with new growth. this is also my first grow with hydro and tell you what its so much easyer to me to know what your plant is sitting in verses the soil where you really dont know. and you cant always flush out extra nutes. iv been growing for about 8 years soil and now scraching my head wondering why i never took the jump sooner.

also ph is a must if ppm of water source is over 100, ph is a must with water and nutes. 5.8-6.3.

my 2 cents.

so for your plants. flush em if possible and only distilled or ro water. they will recover.
if you dont have a home ro filtration unit, walmart has the water for like 50 cents a gallon fill up those 5 gallon jugs.

cant skip a step anywhere, i used to think i could also:joint:.
