Help Decide My Lights

Hello RollItUp Community,

I have a 6x8 foot growing area for my plants in which I would like to divide the width, the 8ft section, by three lights on light-movers which works nicely because the light-mover rails are 6ft in length. I know I want to use Lumatek Digital ballasts but the question I have is whether I should go with three 400 watt lamps or three 600 watt lamps? I hear 600 watt lamps are the most efficient but I want to know what the community thinks. Being on light-movers I can obviously place the lamps closer to the plants than stationary lamps. So let me know what you think. Hell, if you think I should go with 1,000 watt lamps let me know. So I hope to hear lots of feedback.

Thanks

two 600 watters should work just fine, three 400's would be less efficient. three 600's sounds like overkill, but it will still work good. Might be cheapest to just do two 1000 watters, the bulbs are pretty inexpensive compared to 600's.
