help diagnose: small thin leaves, slow growth

This was a hempy grow, that was transplanted to soil 2 weeks ago.

In the hempy, everything was fine. Good growth, nice color, etc. Then Growth started slowing and a few ppl suggested they are getting to large for the cups. And thats when i transplanted.

Ever since i transplanted, the plants have never been the same. Slow to no growth, you will see the new growth is extremely thin, and has been the same size since the transplant.

The leaves showed signs of cal mag deficiancy and a foliage feeded it with epsom salt 3 days ago. The leaves color bounced back, but the plant is still the same.

Except for the no growth, and thin leaves, it almost looks like the tips of the leaves show burning. And u can see the bottom leaves are completely yellow.

Can it be that the plant took a big ass shock from the controlled hempy to the soil? Maybe the nutes in the soil is more than she us used too? Or maybe not enough? I have tried my best to not over water. I only water until completely dry. But obviously, because of the hempy transplant, there is this perlite clump in the middle, where the root ball is now. Maybe that is wet even though soil is dry? Or too dry even though soil is wet?

I am wits end. And i dont want to make drastic changes. So help will be appreciated.

Oh and then, its a outdoor grow (summer is starting here now) but i move them in under cfls every now and then when we have massive rain

Without further ado, here is some pics:

Damn, i have taken alot more pics. But its taking forever to upload. Will update the thread with more pics in a bit

Maybe flush it right through and gradually introduce some nutes? was it the soil that already contains nutrients?

I mean to me the tops look pretty healthy in that pick! Maybe try just flushing them out and starting again gradually with the nutes? Obviously damaged leaves won't come back

Its fine. Let them be. The lower leaves are dying off because the new leaves are sucking all the juice out of them creating more and more bud sites.
If its that big a deal keep the popcorn on the bottom and risk killing it. Or leave it alone and enjoy the big ass buds on the top

When seedlings first go into dirt the plant spends most all it's energy growing out roots to support the plant. There will be little growth above ground until the rootball reaches the inside walls of the pot. You are waiting so long because you transplanted straight into a large pot without going to a smaller intermediate-sized pot first. Next time go from solo cup to a 2-quart container to a 3 gallon pot. You won't spend so much time waiting for that initial growth spurt. Good luck, BigSteve.

Keep in mind, when you up pot(transplant) you will get slow growth for awhile for 2 reasons.

1.) Some transplant shock, nothing to be worried about, but they need to adjust
2.) Plants are focusing energy on growing roots, once these get more firmly established, growth will begin again with vigor.

I don't know much about hempy, but I thought as a soil-less medium, you use a much lower PH? If that's the case, the change could also add to the transplant stress. They should adjust over time though if that is the case.
