Hey folks i have a lady (viper cookies) that is 4 weeks into flower. I just noticed in the last 2 or 3 days that some of the tips of the leaves are looking a little burnt. Just a few, and it seems to be the upper leaves mostly. Also i noticed some spots on one of my fan leaves. I decided to give her a good flush today but now i'm wondering if i should give her a low low dose of nutes now??... or wait until she drys out to feed her?

Any advise is appreciated. Thanks Ya'll!Vc 6.jpg vc 5.jpg vc 4.jpg vc 3.jpg vc 2.jpg V.c.jpg

that leaf damage doesn't look like a nute issue. it looks like you either dripped something on it, or maybe thrip/leaf miner damage. if it's only effecting the one plant, i doubt its an insect problem.
do you use anything like strong h2o2 or bleach? or maybe sprayed for pests recently?
nute issues usually follow a pattern, occurring either along leaf veins, or in between them, this seems to be random, and crossing over both veins and the space between, which is what makes me thing it might be damage from an outside source.

i guess it could be the beginning of leaf septoria. i think i'd remove those leaves, and possibly use a fungicide, but i'd read any i was thinking about thoroughly, no point in getting rid of a problem by poisoning your plants

Nah, I haven't sprayed or anything. I'm positive it's not mold tho..

she look pretty damn good imo.. u flushed when u had a problem so you got that down.. personally id give low dose food and CaMg and call it a day
I added eggshells in the soil when i planted her so im gonna steer away from the cal-mag, But I think ill take your advise and feed her s little now. Hoping she likes it.

good idea.. id think about givin her a gram or so of epsom in the feed.. unless you already have your Mg handled a little Mg/S usually doesnt hurt lol seems like u got a lot of your bases covered

Mg = Magnesium
S = Sulfur

I personally feel Sulfur is one of the most undervalued elements.. If you wind up with "woody" stalks that can be a sign you need a little Sulfur in your life.

If you start noticing stems turning purple a lot of times it means you need a little Mg.. A gram of Epsom salt in your feed can take a good plant and push it closer to greatness imo cuz it provides Mg/S

If I flush I usually follow up immediately with normal nutes at half strength.
-good luck!

Regarding Epsom salts yes just stirred in, I use a small amount in every gallon of water

Im guessing your mixing gallons? Get your gram of epsom and put in the gallon. Then add just about 1/2 - full cup of HOT water and shake it up good for 30 seconds or so. If you use dry nutrients you can put the nutrients in when you put the epsom salt and it helps it all mix in.
