Yes, they look like preflower pistols. Yes, you can keep her as a long lastin' mother. Just keep her in the veg light cycle. Yes, you can clone her or something, if she has any grow shoots that are at least 2 to 4 inches.:-P

Yeh man, look into cloning and yu'll figure out what to do,
if your gonna clone, leave her vegging for a bit longer for her to recover. :)

She COULD go into 12/12 but its totally up to you, but she is ready :) But at the same time, the more time vegging the bigger she'll get. However, if your using cfl's rule of thumb is to not let the plant get above 20cm during vegging due to the light penetration issues.

wow im so freaken happy man its my 1st girl...lol.(thinks of the first "hot" girl ive been with)

reason y i asked is because i saw the mr green video n he had to cut trimmings to use in a flowering cycle to be able to determine the sex

You're the man ice water. You're lady is gonna do just fine. And if you like it, which I'm sure you do, I'd check into cloning so you can keep the strain around :)

Yeah that's something you can do to determine the sex of your plant before the plant itself shows its sex. But you already know you have a female so you're good to go. Now, you can take clones from your plant and root them. Once they root you can plant them and they are your new babies. Look up cloning. Its a very good thing to learn how to do. Saves time and money. And the best part is when you take clones from a female plant, the clones are replica's of your mother plant and will be female themselves.

That is a very lovely, sexy female that has preflowered. The reason Mr. Green was cloning to determine sex is because the plant that he was cloning had not yet preflowered. In cloning, he could put the clone into 12/12 and if it showed to be female, then he would know that the parent plant is female as well and he could keep it in a veg light cycle. The alternative would be to put the parent plant into 12/12 to force it to show it's sex, but if he did that and wanted to keep it as a mother, then it would take several weeks for the mother to revert back to vegging after he changed the light cycle back from 12/12 to a veg light cycle.

I here ya man, I really freaked the first time one of mine preflowered. It's just what they do once they are sexually mature. Nothing to worry about as there will just be a few pistols but the plant is still in a veg state until you change to 12/12. From what I can see the plant looks good, nice healthy stem and good green color.

hey loll im just paranoid but its showing more pistils a few nodes above totally normal for a planned mother plant? and how many more pistils are expected...

maybe its the strain Northern lights #5

cuz im definately want it to stay as a mother for awhile n clone off it

All maryJane strains will preflower, usually between week 4 and week 8, depending on the strain and growing conditions. Males usually do it at a younger age, given the conditions are the same. This will continue, or in your plants case, it will continue to grow pistols as it gets older and increases in size. As long as you keep it in a veg light cycle you will notice more pistols, but not too awful many. You still need to keep an eye on it for pollen sacks to make sure it doesn't hermi on you. Don't mean to scare you but it could happen to any plant. One of the best things about the fact that it preflowered is that when you eventually do decide to start a 12/12 light cycle, instead of having to wait up to 2 weeks to determine sex, you will notice an increase in pistols in as little as 4 days, and 2 weeks later the pistols will be exploding all over it.:clap::grin:

can i cut (mini node , 2 nodes then cut [at the very bottom of pic])that n do the scraping method to clone it or is it still too early

theres newly grown pistols there on the second node

Keep on veg if u want to clone and do it now,and if u want to flower u can now,so really up to u. Watch jorge cervante on youtube on cloning this might help u decide what's best for you.good luck bro!

It's best to cut your clones at least 4 nodes down from the top. If you go that far down and find a shoot that is at least 2 inches long (at least 4 inches is better) then it is not too early. I can't tell how tall your plant is, but if you have anything even lower down, than that would be a better choice as those shoots will root easier and probably have thicker stems, and that will help your success rate. The Jorge Cevante video covers all of this. Indyman is right on about that video, it is very helpful.
