I had them outside for like 2 weeks but this is how big they got... So I decided to grow them inside. I have no idea what kind of lights these are, nor the type, or power...

So if somebody could help me identify the lights i would really appreciate it. I dont want them too big, so like when its a 1 foot tall i want to start to flower it.

i cant really tell from the pics what kind they are but they look like they are around 2700-3000k. you should go pick up some 26watt 5600k swirleys for like less than ten dollars

oh then its a 60 watt incandescent. take them out and throw them at someone and get 2 26 watt 5600 daylight cfls. im on my first grow and when i started i did the same thimg you did and i put a normal indoor lamp with 3 65watt incandescents and it will do nothing but stretch until u get the cfls. later on you can either buy a shit load of cfls like me(cheap way) or get hps wich are ALOT better but itll cost a gud penny

Dude go and get you some 6500K Bulbs for Vegging and some 2700K OR 3000K bulbs for Flowering.. If its one plant you can get away with 2 42 watters. 2 Plants for with 100 watts of both or more.. More lights the better

Whats the difference between watts and K? How much can the 6500K and the 3000K cost? How long do i leave these plants in vegging if i dont want them really tall. Just like 1 foot. Sorry for all the questions lol

get rid of those NOW. you will mess them up if you leave them like that. get 2 26watt(they are the highest watt before they get expensive). i usually buy 4 at a time for about 12-15 dollars. they might say 100watt equivilent but they are 26 watts and they are spiral in shape. u will have to end up buying ALOT of them or buying an hps light. u should probly get the cfls which will be gud until they are prob about 6 or 7 in if they are really close to the lights but ur best bet in the long run is to get a hps which will be about $130(i know its expensive, thats why i dont have one yet).

if you want short plants then get a hps and is you cant do that then get as many cfls as you can and you can mix the cfls. to keep them short you can top them(i dont know how to) or just start them on flowering by giving them 12hours day and 12 nite. timers are 4.44 at walmart. i know that because i went yesterday and i had to get a more expensive one because 444 is my bad luck number

Watts and K's cant be messured in the same class... Watts is how bright it is and K's only gives the different color the lights give off... the 6500K is what the sun is to a plant growing outdoors a bright color. the 2700K is the Flowering stage and is more of a yellow color. for 100+ watts of both will cost AROUND 20-40 bucks at walmart, Hyvee hell even K-mart. Do 24 hours of light for the Vegging stage and then switch to your 2700K lights for Budding at 12/12 meaning 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark. Veg plant till and foot than switch cuase when you bud or "Flower" your plant will Triple in size. Hope this helps

Also right now I would suggest a more reflective setup than just a black trash bag or whatever that is. Get rid of the aluminum foil down there too. Best options would be either mylar or I am using panda film for my grow, kind of expensive, but you get a lot of it and it should give the plants more light = more growth.

would him putting the foil behind the plants help a little?

It might help a little but people mention burn issues with aluminum foil which would maybe lessen that benefit..
i use alot of aluminum foil both to use as much light as possible but also to keep the light out of the flowering section. if the light itself isnt burnin the plant then why would the foil?
