Help Flushing

i keep hearing every one saying i need to flush my plant but how do i flush my plant and what do i need or is there a guide
sorry if i disturb any one with my noob questions
and yes i did search and i just see ppl asking the same question

A couple of weeks before harvest,run about double the size in water,versus the size of your pot. Clean water.No nutes or anything else just water.

actually its 3x the size of the pot when flushing.. That ensures you get rid of all the nutes n other shit that may be in there

3 gal water to 1 gal soil

Do you really need to flood plants for flushing?

I read its simply a matter of two weeks of clean water (same amount as always), no nutes to allow the plant to absorb any nutrients in the plant itself and its roots.

Granted everyone has their own techniques etc, just the second time in two days I heard the same thing and figured I would ask and get some other peoples take on it.

Also the flushing's necessity is always at odds, people on both sides have good arguments, see the FAQ.

I do personally flush and have recently switched to Black Strap Molasses for the final 2 weeks instead of straight water. But never over flooding them.
