post pics plz... maybe mold.... if you didnt steralize before you started germing then.. pry mold... i clean the whole growroom and all containers and what not with hydrogen peroxide before and betrween grows... when hydrogen peroxide evaporates it turns into water so its 100% safe...post those pics for us if ya can

I know exactly what you're talking about, should just be rock material. I've had the exact same thing happen to me many times and it's never affected any of my plants/clones

rockwool has small shiny specks in it, you probably didn't notice it before. See anything moving? Any bad smells?

nothings moving, my camera is shitty. I tried to crush one of the specs and it felt like a rock. So 1 its not a bug, and 2 i dont think mold wold grow to be that hard. I used worm tea, so maybe its specs from that. Or what "the meth king said" lol.

Yea, some of the rockwool products have those little lime specs in them> I ran into that problem once when I got some generic rockwool. Nothing to worry about. Just make sure you pre-soak the rockwool and like those guys said "cleanliness is next to godliness." Wipe down all your equipment between grows.
