My temps were 79-84 with my old 4in inline fan exhaust and now they are staying the same with the new 6in fan.... I am exhausting into the attic and the only thing I can think of is that I used a reducer from 6-4in because I did not want to make a bigger hole in the wall... Can anyone give me some advice... I am running a bare bulb wing reflector.. Maybe I should have gotten an air cooled hood instead of a $150 exhaust fan... Here are a few pics of setup... Also I've been keeping 3 passive flaps open and trying to close 1 every so often to see if more negative pressure will cool it better.... No difference though

What size ballast you have?
Is that fan blowing directly on the bulb? If so try not blowing over the bulb that might help bring the temps down

Blow under the bulb? I have a 400w /600w digital just went up to 600w bulb and don't want to go back even though it has been nothing but heat issues since

Basically you need either a intake fan to blow cold air in, or an air cooled hood
Gonna need to get the air cooled hood then especially with summer coming up.... For now I'm using passive would my tent stay cooler with 1 or 2 or all 3 passive vents open? Well at least I upgraded the fan because the hoods I have been looking in to have all been 6in and up

Umm couple things.
I would tie the thermostat to one of the strings on your reflector and make sure the thermostat is at CANOPY LEVEL to see what temps your plants are.
It looks like if you raise the light your temps should be fine. 79-84 is fine aslong as your humidity is 75-85%

Haha humidity is at 22% not even close.... Tried using a humidifier but it was a joke... Ended up ditching it... I have a thermostat tied to my light that's were I have been getting my highest temps.... Another thermometer usually reads 77-79 at top of tent.... Which leads to another question I've asked on a different forum.... What's better a 400w a foot away or a 600w 18-24in away.... Seems the higher I put my lights the more I think about popping my 400w hps bulb back in

oh didn't see the reducer that must go or just put ur 4'' fan back cus its a waste
there is a reason its a 6'' 4 is just constricting
Hey thanks for the advice... My budgets a little tight right now for an air cooled hood so I'll try getting rid of the reducer and see if that helps....
