Please help me as this is my first grow and I'm having complications with one of my indoor plants. Currently I have 2 plants in a tent powered by ts1000 mars hydro. Lights are hung 18 in away at 50% dimmed. Temp 77 and humidity between 55-65% Using FFOF (fox farm ocean forest). Started from seed in solo cup transplanted at 3 weeks to 5 gal fabric pots. Plants were started with FFOF and used same medium in 5 gallon pots however. After Transplant I started giving 1/4 strength of recommended nutes to plants with 1/4 strength of calmag and balancing ph at that point to about 6.5-6.8. I've only fed them once the northern lights is doing fine. I noticed first sighting of slight nute burn ( I believe) because of one of the tips on fan leave is rusty orange. Plus after doing reading I'm finding out that FFOF is quite hot and that I shouldve mixed to dilute. My problem child is the OG Gelato strand. Currently I'm at wk 6 from seed and about wk 2 of veg and my leaves are turning crispy in certain areas with slight deformity. And holes in quite a few leaves. I used jewelers loop to check for pest and none were found. To be honest the holes look like small burns but this is my first grow and I don't know enough. Some of the fan leave are dark in color and some of the leaves towards bottom were rusted as well but I removed them. I'm watering maybe about 1 every 5-6 days but at this point I'm confused can some one please help me I will attach what few pictures I do have.
FYI it's the same plant in all pictures even though some look light due to flash. I can upload more if someone ever responds to this thanks a bunch

My 2¢ ... looks like scarring / leaf tears and repair.
Typically it could be bugs or as simple as how plants are handled.

You can do a “ preventative “ against possible bug activity by using something like Capt. Jacks Bug Brew ( Spinosad ) for safe pest control. Spray top and bottoms of leaf . Better safe than sorry.

Thank you man I appreciate it I'm over here going crazy. If I sprayed the leaves would it effect any of the buds yield or taste? And it's weird because my other plant is right next to it but perfectly fine.

If you find out what it is let us know.
I've had the same thing a few times and could never figure it out.
Didn't affect harvest or anything, just puzzling.
Your plants will be fine.

I thought it could be either the fan blowing, or just the leaves twisting out of their buds and getting caught.
Maybe water heating up on the leaves.
But I could never find any pests either.

I can almost see the thrips crawling around on your leaves in the second picture. Take some close ups of the bottom sides of leaves. And if you have a scope get some zoomed in pictures of the tiny brown rice shaped things. Potentially crawling around

DAMN YOU KITTIE! LOL! Before ours passed, she was notorious for taking nips at the leaves. It always left damage similar to that shown in your photos.
I second this I usually keep the tent door open was going crazy thought I had bugs till I caught him ass deep he ran out and leafs were just soaked in saliva I scolded him and told him to wait until the end and I’ll give you something better lmao

Hey guys I took some more photos and no I do not have any pets. I used jewelers loop to get closer picture I do not see anything moving on the front or the back side of the leaves. I will admit it there seems to be a few white spots when I take pictures because of the flash but even when I get in close I do not see anything. The top of my soil is also dry So with the fan blowing on the plants some of the debris from soil may show in the pictures attached are a few. Also I checked ph runoff and it was 6.0 I'm wondering if the FF soil lowered it. If so could that be a possible reason for nutrient lockout? Idk I'm just asking? I really appreciate all the help

No I don't have a cat but I'm hoping it's just from me being a little rough on the leaves but some of the holes I don't understand maybe from my PH being off I wrote a post a little while ago Not sure if I have to reply to individual posts for you to get a notification. But thank you

Bro I see what you're saying but that's just the fox form soil that blew on the leaves from being dry sorry I didn't take a better picture
Get a phone clip microscope and snap a few 60x -100x pics. Your first grow should be one of observation at every level, and why not rule out something that would explain your issues.

my money is still on thrips. They are sneaky fast bastards and can be overlooked.

It's crazy what cat saliva does to leaves isn't it?

Just saw your picture now, either way a preventive spray can be a good practice. There are really cool insecticide fungice preventive option. Pure crop 1. Flying skull nukem. Dr zymes all organic. Or even canncontrol from makers of mammoth p
