shame on you man it depends on your growing ability as to how much you can yield from your plants...no clues to your set up, lights, nutes, soil....

yeah...
What he said..

Taking into perspective that you think it only depends on how much soil you use, i would guess that you would not yield very much.
Growing is knowledge and a hobby

First off, you wouldn't yield much with only 2 400watt lights over 30 5gal buckets if any of them grew. and still how old are your plants...veg time??

What you need to do is go to this link LTG, Read and learn. Ask specific questions and the community will help. And 30 plants seems alot for a first grow.IMO

Cali big Bud is going to give some really big yields if you are serious about this, but YOu are going to need so much light. You could maybe put four big plants under a 600. When I say big I mean like 6 to 8 foot big. You might only be able to do two plants. There are so many variables involved it was like you asking how much does a car cost? It depends on if you want to buy a fully loaded Lexus, or a stipped down Kia.

My friend has a vertical set up in his closet with 30 3 gallon DWC buckets and 2400 watts in cool tubes. This is his first grow and he is shooting for 1 gram/watt (5.3lbs or about 86ozs) with 15 Autofem LR2xAutoAK47, 3 Nirvana PPP, 2 DNA Chocolope, , 5 Paradise White Berry, and some dinafem freebies.

how much verticle height do you have, it could be from an ounce per, to possibly 4 or 5 per. Seems like the more space you have for them to grow, and the less you have to worry bout bendin, and cutting away, the bigger the yield is and the faster they grow

Yeah it is a pretty big first grow. I guess he figures that going big might allow for him to screw up and still have a modest harvest.

The individual buckets mean a lot more work, but at least this way one mess up doesn't necessarily kill all the plants.

Plus, he can't wait to see a wall of bud. He is still considering adding some chicken wire for a vertical scrog.
