Hello all, this is a relatively unique question, and something that has never happened to me before. My friend installed a lamp for me and forgot to remove the film on the reflector. I didn't know until I checked a few weeks later and noticed that some of the film was hanging down, and so I removed all of it. However, the bulb appeared to have some film stuck to it so I removed it and tried to clean it, but there is still a little patch of dried film resin near the base of the bulb that just wont come off. Do you think this could cause the outer jacket of the bulb to crack or even explode? I turned it on and it seems to be working fine though, I'd just like to get another opinion because I'm a little nervous about it. Thanks!
