help im trying my first grow

im trying my first grow i really dnt know wat im doing juss wat iv herd and i dont have alot of extra mony im using 2 60 watt grow lights that i bought at a nursery for plants and fox farm soil n its been a week since i germinated n planted them thy look fine to me but input and advice on wat i shud invest in wud be muchly apprieciated iv read alot of the forum for answers but honestly i dnt understand alot of the short hand words that r used please help and thanks

I would recommend a you toss a fan on her and get a timer for the lights. Other than that, for a short budget grow that's all you really need imo. Best of luck!

you would wanna put the lights closer to the plants. and probably just get some cfls if you dont wanna spend to much. if you get cfls get 6500k daylight for veg and 2700k for flower. and mix them but have more of one depending on what your at

Get a timer and download a book called somethi.g like "how to grow 8 ounces for 100 bucks" by seemore buds. Somethi.g like that. You wont get 8 ounces but it will show you good ways to grow with cfl's for cheap. It basically amounts to proper ph of soil and nutrients along with keeping the cfls (compact floursecent light bulbs) within a few inches of the plant at all time, setting up multiple points of light, and flowering the plants as soon as possible

your doin fine depending on how much heat them lights are shooting out i would slowly lower them about 4 " a week make sure theres fresh air goin in there dont worry about fan just yet let it stretch and get some new leafs you can always transplant deeper when goin into next pot ) size but you should consider a fan when there in the 2 week mark for sure

Ps when watering make sure not to over water MJ likes it dryer so i would get a ML syringe and give them like 30 ml every second day or so

hey 1 mr thing i put a fan over them on low but is it ok to leave the lights on 24/7 thr a week in now n the lights r made to grow tomatos n i was told that i cud use them to grow them all the way thanks

RESEARCH!!!!! I did for about.... 4months before I started my grow. & I'm glad I did! My brain is FULL of all things cannabis gardening!

You can do 24/7 or 18/6 standard for veg, when you want to flower you have to switch to 12/12. But I would also say to move your lights closer, you don't want your plant to stretch too much towards the light too fast.

hey there guys.. im longtime smoker .. first time grower... would like to know sth.. how can i get my seeds to germinate good?? what is the best ways??? i have a growbox.. with all the right equipment.. usually i get clones from friends.. but they have some disease in their crops so im starting from scratch... so if theres anyone out there that can give me some good advice it will be much appreciated... )
ive tried in a glass of water & in cottonwool... but some how its not germinating good... is there a certian way to get the seeds to germinate good??? & is there a certian temp it should be under or over...???

im also first time ever in a forum ... so pls be patient with me as im not used to chatting on line... but hope i will find some one out there that will give me some good advice...

Sprouting seeds? Put them in a folded up wet paper towel in a plastic bag like a ziplock, and in a drawer or cupboard or something. They should sprout in a few days. From there put them in a seed starting soil available anywhere, give em water. If you can still find brick weed in your area, get some and practice on some of the two hundred seeds in a quarter bag.

i put mine n a soaking wet cloth n my closet for 4 days out of 10 - 9 were germinated
