I had them for about 3 days now. Have another forum going but wanted to post one here. I do not use any nutrients, I gave them water on the second day. So many things I've read that makes me confused on diagnosing the problem exactly. I'll post my first day picture and than the recent picture from the morning. First day picture is with the finger in it.

what medium did you get them in?? forget that. what are you gonna put them in?? do it soon. if inert then you must start feeding. asap. if you plan to use a soil like fox farm . then is got enough to get you thru maybe veg. and ph water.

well you need to up pot. cant grow in solo cups and be happy.
The guy that gave them to me said leave them there first 2 weeks to get good root growth. I thought i could of transferred them straight into the 3gl pot in which i wanted to use but he said not to just yet. I took his advice because of what I seen from his grow, he look like he knows what he was talking about.

oh wow he might have sold you cuttings. cuz yes they should have healthy roots and could be put anywhere you wanted. .. imo. never told anyone to keep in cup. showed you the roots cuz thats what your donated for,? right? or if its the homie hook up. they should still be under a humidity dome . pimp ask him are they cuttings or clones?

should ask him how old.? acting like they just clippings and should still be making roots and with small roots or none.. you will have to follar feed until roots establish themselves imo

if he gave you fresh cutting with no roots, you need to keep that medium slightly wet, whenever it starts to look like the top is starting to get dry, give it a little water. don't "check them for roots"....when they start to show new growth, they have roots. if you go poking around and pulling plants out, any roots they have started will be damaged. don't spray water directly on them, thats asking for powdery mildew, if you have something that will fit over them thats even semi transparent, use it and spray the inside of your "dome", raising the humidity that way. i use a bubble cloner, and i think i would actually take those out of that medium and put them in my cloner. if you don't have one, leave them where they are, keep the medium damp, try to keep the humidity up around them without actually getting them wet, and don't give them a lot of light, a small cfl is enough, or put them off to the side of your area, you're trying to get them to root, not grow. when they get roots going, they'll start putting out new growth even under the low light. thats the time to move them closer to the regular lights
Well he showed me his clones a day before and all had pretty good roots on them. Some longer than others but look really nice. I don't believe the plants were cuttings. But than again he said he was making more cutting and could have easily gave them to me without me knowing.
Remembering what he said about "leave them there first 2 week for good root growth" he either meant to get the roots longer than they were or they are cuttings.
I am not too sure and that is why I wanted to get info on this and the reason why the leaves are dropping, browning, burnt looking tips.

If the picture with your finger in it is of rooted clones in soil then water should be all you need... That being said, it's difficult to tell how much water you have in each plant's cup. Clones of that size need very little water and, the roots grow better if you don't compact the soil with excess water... In other words, less is more at the seedling stage!
Thanks everyone again for the responses. I am just worried about the leaves and the spots because as i research more the plants look as if they have a deficiencies due to lack of nitrogen or something. Again I am not experience enough to really know.
Could the guy have been using nutrient while caring for the clones and that is why now they are showing these signs? I don't have any nutrients nor do i use them now.

at the very least you should have gotten something like this.. not a lot of roots but dont need any dome.

cut those big fan leaves off and the rest of the leaves cut in half. your root structure can not handle the moisture loss yet. they will perk up in no time after that.

My bet is you have cuttings and not clones. Save a few bucks man, go get a 2l bottle of soda, drink it, cut the bottom off, spray the inside and put it over your plant with he lid on. Youv got to get those suckers rooted before you can do anything else.

What would tell you that those are un rooted cuts? If the OP has had them for 3 days with no humidity dome on them and they were fresh cuttings placed in a cup, id think they would be wilted almost dead by day 3. Your thoughts?
