is it possible to post some pics? help us help you? :) ....... but leaves die during flowering... this is cuz a MJ plant throws its flowers in fall and late fall when it starts cooling down and at this time a MJ plant also thinks that it is dieing. and dies off more during late flower, could also be a nute or fert deff or over ferts, burning from the light, really hard to say with out atleast seeing a pic

yeah post a pic, cuz although girls start to die and lose leaves as the progress into flower; it usually goes from the bottom and up, not from the top like you said yours are

How long have your plants been flowering? How many weeks is the strain you are growing supposed to take to flower? The amber/redish pistils sound like ripening bud to me and late in flower some leaves will die and others will fade as nutrients are sucked from them by the plants. That is a normal event so if you are late in flower you likely do not have a problem or at least likely not one that is enough of a problem to be a major concern at this point or one that you will have much of a chance to remedy due to harvest time knocking at your door and because late in flower plants will try to use up stored nutrients and they will absorb less from the growing medium so if there is a nutritional imbalance in the plants it is not easily alters quickly and enough time may not left to do much about it. If you are early in flower or at least not all that close to harvesting the changing pistils would be a sign of pollination and the leaf color changing a sign of a nutrient disorder.

The top down bit sounds odd but it can happen. Were there any early signs/symptoms you can remember, like bleaching of leaves between the veins or spotting or anything?
