Hey guys i cant figure out whats going on with my plants they are 4 weeks old on plagron royal mix ( see here ) http://www.hydroponics-hydroponics.com/pd-plagron-royalmix.cfm

the soil says not to use anything food for the first 6 weeks so i have only been using tapwater for watering, ph is 6.3 and runoff ph is 7.2, i have them in hempy buckets and water every 2-3 days, is this right to keep the reserve full at the bottom of the hempy or should i allow it to dry out fully? anyway my leaves are not as dark green as i would like and now they have started to turn white, only the lower leaves i might add, heres a pic when the lights came on and another 18 hours later just before lights out you can tell hows its getting worse,

i dont want to add cal-mag ect if i dont need it and such small plants shouldent need any when the soil has everything it needs, some kinda ph problem? they are under 400w hps and heat isent really a problem, so any ideas from experienced growers?

My Sour D starting doing that like 2weeks ago. I fed it more nutes and the leaves on the new growth went back to normal green. Also I still would give Calmag. My water has cal and mag already in it but I still give my ladies a light feeding of calmag + and they love it.

Can anyone else chime in as i dont want to feed the plant and possibly make it worse, ive been looking into it being a potassium problem and that happens when theres too much calcium or nitrogen in the soil so i would not like to add cal mag to make it worse as i think a plant so young shouldent need it

last time i had that problem was under led lights...i used calli-magik...does the same as calmag but has a rated small nitrogen dose, not sure if thats enharent to all cal and maganese products but all the new growth was dark green and healthy.,

thats not an over fert problem..its an under fert or lock out...jmho..........when watching for recovery always watch the new growth...the old is just that..kind like a record of your mistake, the new growth is the indicater of health and zest

Thanks greggos88 i think that is the problem, maybe my water doesent have much micro nutes and i am prity sure its a potassium problem i ordered a bottle of this stuff that allows you to raise your potassium without added other nutrients incase anybody has the same problem and wants to know how i am gonna fix it

http://www.amazon.com/Seachem-463-Flourish-Potassium-500ml/dp/B0002APILO

while i wait for that to come do you think it would be ok to give the plant some tomatoe food i have which is high in potassium? cant hurt at this stage because if i dont get some K into it shes gonna get worse

Ya, I've got one of those too Humboldt's Hydrodeuce 0-0-22! I went with the all rounder just to be safe. Wood ashes (potash) would be another organic viable option. Depending on your location you could get a nice fire (pine/aspen) going with lots of heat drink some Heineken, lol, and collect the ashes from the pit next morning after it's burned out. Good luck! :)
