Help! Light cycle issue.

My girl unknowingly switched on my timer, it was on bypass to let lights run 24/0... Now they went to 12/12 for the past week!!! They are only 5 weeks old. I was gone. Returned home and went to check on them, and lights were off. I asked why, and she said she didn't know. She just hit the switch somehow by accident.
Will they be screwed if I go back to 24/0?
They have not even shown sex yet.
Never had this issue before. Searched and couldn't find any other answer.

Thanks.

They will be okay. Just give them some time to revert back into veg. Poor babies must be confused :-)

You'd do well to examine the true motives for the timer being switched. How does anyone "accidently bump" a timer from over-ride to 12/12? Secondly, you often see the sun out 24/0, for 5 weeks straight? Give them 4-6 hours of dark each day: they need it. 24/0 is noobshit.

Considering that they have been in 12/12 for a week which is enough to trigger them to start flowering you may want to go ahead and run the lights for 24/0 for a week or so. While I agree with Dribbles that it is not a good practice to do this normally, it does aid plants in the re-vegging process and may be appropriate in your case.

Personally I'm trying to decide about 24/0 and 18/6. Anyhow. Put them back on veg cycle. It's going to retard them a week at least but they will be fine.

Have they began to stretch? If you are dead set on vegging them i'd start off with a week of 18/6 then a week of 20/4. Kinda ease them back into the groove.

Don't change the lights twice. Pick 24/0 or 18/6. I do know for a fact that messing with it too much will mess them up. Either flower them or veg them. But don't mess with light cycles any more than you have to.

Timer was in the closet outside the box. When she moved the curtain it could have bumped it from bypass to active. She smokes. Loves our plants. She nearly cried cause she thought she fucked em up! Was a legit accident. Thanks guys. I'm gonna go to 18/6. Fucking sucks. But oh well, hope they bounce back ok. I have healthy ass plants. So I think I should be ok.

When you change back they will take a week or so to revert back to veg depending on how long they were in flower so don't be alarmed if you don't see any growth for a bit. Good luck!
