Help, main stem broke (leaves are droopy after 10min). I'm so desperate :(

Hey guys, earlier i was building a top cover for my plants using wood and white painters plastic. While doing so, the plastic fell off and crushed my tallest plant (about 2.5 meters). The plant is flowering, i think it's in its 3rd week of flower. It kind of super cropped itself, the top stem was still attached to the main stem. I tried using the splinter method, and covered the wound with duct tape. The leaves were drooping 10min after the break. After 3 hours i went out and checked it, they were still droopy. So i foliar watered it since i read somewhere it helps with the recovery. Right now its 3:00am and it happened yesterday at 12:30pm. Please guys if u have anything to add that can help fix her please don't go unnoticed and post something.

PS: I went on a rage the whole day insulting anyone in front of me, it was such a terrible day. I pissed off a few people, because they were telling me not to worry and that they could hook me up with buds -.- . I don't give a fuck about smoke, i just love growing these types of plants.

you should duct tape the actual plant back together then plint it.

and make sure your getting a good connection between both pieces. they need to be pressed right against each other win no space, its tough on the main stem because it becomes woody and dries out really fast.

That's what i did man, the wound is duct tape all around. I also used duct tape using the splinter method.

Hey mainliner, thanks for your reply. Should the plastic bag be wrapped around the whole top (including leaves)? Or just take a piece of plastic and rap it around the wound then duct tape? Or duct tape the wound then wrap the wound with plastic? Should be tight or a bit loose?

I forgot to ask, should i water the wound also?

wrap it around the wound, so it doesn't dry out too quick, get on your knees, ap prey to god it heals?

you could cut the wound with razor so its nice and flush/ even and dab a bit of root hormone powder on it?? Ok

I usually apply a little cloning gel just to seal the break a bit. no duct tape. cloning gel and wire it correctly.

once you've wrapped it , give it some support if its big,,

Yea cloning gel... I live in a 3rd world country, so i doubt i could find any here. But i will try searching.

Yea i Just went outside right now and found out my mom had added extra support (lol how kind of her). I watered the wound and wrapped a piece of plastic around it. I hope it lives man, i hate having a plant with no cola and only popcorn branches! I mean ffs it's in 3rd or 4th week of flower, i'm gonna end up with fluffy buds man :'(

hold yourself together man , be strong lol

Just wanted to add you could mist the wound with a silica supplement foliar spray like Dynagro Protekt, or Rhino Skin, etc. Will help the plant heal the area.
