We need more to go off here. Ebb and Flow tables/buckets, DWC, aero, hempy, or any variation in between are all doable and they have their advantages and disadvantages, but we can't decide which you prefer or which might be a better fit without knowing a little more.

To start:

Budget?
Room outside the grow area for a res/chiller/components?
Plant limits if youre mmj?
AC/cooling/ventilation setup?
Height limits?
Heat issues?
Veg setup?
Wanting to do a perpetual harvest or is the 2-3oz every 2 weeks just a goal amount overall, ie would you be fine yielding 8-12oz every 8 weeks instead?

I would DWC because the cost to setup is low and they are very simple to run. Give the lighting is good, temps are good, what strain, how long you veg ect you can get 2-4 oz no problem off of 2 plants.

thanks for the replys, i have been reading through advantages/disadvantages of hydroponic systems on various websites and its so hard to settle on, im thinking ebb-flo and using grodan blocks as that looks the easiest to transport to other growing stations. i already have alot of equipment, tent, 400w digi lumatek ballast, aircooled light, rvk rhino fan/carbonfilter, reading through other peoples perpetual grows is inspiring me to try it lol, here is what i was thinking on my own, please tell me if this will work, http://www.hydrohobby.co.uk/gro-tank-gt205-nft-kit.html or http://www.hydrohobby.co.uk/ef120-ebb-and-flood.html << is it possible to use this , ie - 1 for mother plants, another for veg area- and another for flower area?

cool video, but i dont mind spending a bit of cash to get started, its fun to learn about and having tried growing autoflowers in soil im keen to press on way hydroponics, if anyone can recomend good set ups to get me a decent harvest every couple weeks, or month. i would like a breakdown on the systems i should use for mother plants, clones, veg area and flower area, in as small a space as possible, wardrobes or tents

How many can you grow legally? THAT determines your perpectual yield. Look up waterfarm, auto plants, and learn to love scrogging. Easy 1/1.5 zones a month

If your thinking about growing in cycles to put a few onces every 2weeks,
then i would go ebb&flow tables! Simple and cheap!

Start by growing ONE PLANT (well known genetics preferred) in soil from germination (or if you can get a nice 6" tall clone from a trusted benefactor that'll save you 3 weeks) to bong hits. If you are totally successful and the bud is supurb, you dont burn down your house or get busted and can keep your mouth totally shut about it the WHOLE TIME you're ready for prime time. This will give you some time to save up the money ($4000 conservative estimate ~~ can be much more) for a 18 pot aeroponic set up (G.H. makes a beauty) with appropriate lighting and nutrients and utility bills. You gotta crawl before you run the Boston Marathon! Take lots of notes. Read lots of posts. Discern fact from fiction. Meditate. Get stoned LESS. Learn what veganics is. I may sound like I'm being a wise ass here but I'm sincerely trying to help you on the path to being a successful indoor gardener of cannabis. It's not rocket science but it's not exactly like taking your dog for a walk either! If you have that seed in your hand right now and put it in a wet paper towel today you wont be sparking up a fatty till SPRING!!!! Maybe Easter! Perspective is key!! The satisfaction you will derive from this plan coming to a successful conclusion will fuel your motivation to go for bigger and better things. You have the cart and horse in reverse order with your 2-3 ozs a week strategy. Seriously I hope this helped. It starts with dirt, light, air, water and fertalizer. Respect!!!!

I would have to disagree with Pablito (sorry!) on a couple of points. First why would you start with just one plant, 1 or 10 just means a little more time to maintain system? In my experience clones are no faster than seeds as the clones typically IME have been slow to start where as seeds show more vigour, although clones are great for keeping the same phenos. I also think a form of ebb&flo or flood&Drain are simple enough and can be home built for less than $120.00, my total cost was $115.00 for setup that grows 6 plants, water and air pumps incl.. Lights were a bit of money but needed for any grow. Also you will need a couple of good meters (PH TDS), mine cost $350 but does PH, TDS, cond., and salt. And you will need to read alot...lol. Jump in and have fun!
