Help me design me guerrilla grow!

Alright, to make this easy I'll divide it into three problems:

1. I've got 20 seeds ready for the outdoor season of Iranian G13 by Dr. Greenthumb. I'm thinking about starting a plant or two now, and taking clones off of it come May. Or I could just start the seedlings 3 weeks prior in like 3 inch rockwool cubes. Still haven't decided yet. Maybe both? I need advice on this!

2. How do I prepare the soil? Do I just till the land nearby? Would it be beneficial to add a bale of Fox Farm Ocean Forrest or two to the existing soil, and then till it? What's the best methods of keeping animals away? I'm near Southern Michigan, so we have a good amount of deer here. I heard that fishing line works well.

3. How practical are hanging gardens? Like, if I hang a 5 gal bucket from a tree? I've read of people doing this, but the Iranian G13 seems like it would get too big! Also, if it's hanging, do you have to give it nutes? I'm planning to visit the grows (groupings of 4-5 plants per garden) about once every two weeks.

If anyone can answer these questions, or redirect me to a knowledge base on guerrilla growing, I'd be ecstatic. There doesn't seem to be a lot of documented info on the subject!

Stay lifted!

Your trying DrGTs Iranain crosses also, nice.:-o
You going to keep a grow journal on em?
I would love to see em grow.

1 I would definatly make clones of them or Keep the mama around incase they get eaten.
Last year I lost the first 3 waves tell got my cages figured out.:wall:
Would have been out of the game early last year, but I kept mama making clones just incase.

2 Yep thet would work, most advise a 2x2 ft hole.
Nothing stoped hungry animals for me but a cage made out of 1/4 in square material.
Cat dog an my own shit an piss failed, fox urine, human hair, soap, deoderant, mothballs Deer an rabbit reppeleant spray, all failed.
Cages are mandatory here.:wall:

3 Hanging plants in the trees worked great for me last year, rodent an grasshoppers left her alone.:-o
Last year I used a 1 gal Paint can in the tree with a lil Ak48 clone in june.
I screwed a big ass hook into the turnk hung the can on it an wired the base to the tree so wind wouldnt move it.

4 For watering im using this stuff called Zeba Gel, water absorbing polymers made from starch. It works great, an food safe.
I watered one a week, A 2liter when cool 70-90", When it got hot 90-110'I had to water twice a week 1 gal each time.
And Miracal gro Moistrue control soil, with ALOT of mulch on top to hold the water in the ground.

My perpetual grow journal link below has some pics an more info on my set up last year.

Goodluck grower...

Thanks a ton for all the info! Actually, the weirdest thing is that I've been following all your posts on the Doc! You're testing the Chemo Iranian, correct? The Doc said that's comparable to this, but maybe even better. As far as the cages, don't they stick out way too much? Can I spray paint them, or just buy green ones?

Most areas dont need cages? lol
I started without em a lost that wave of plants, an started learning how to use em.
But its cheep ins.
lil chicken wire isnt to much$ (but it wont stop the mice around here).
Green is great most places.
Mine are desart camo.

The chemo journal has a vid of em from last year. They were hard for me to find an I put em there. lol

Damn I wish I could have got some of the Iranian G13, still waiting Dr. said to call back in April. I may just hop a plane ride to Ottawa to see him and see if he doesn't have a special stash laying around.

Were you trying out any Oh!Zone. Really looking forward to this one.:-P:-P:-P

Well Plantvision, I have some extra seeds from it! Actually Scarhole, I've been motivated to order a pack of the Iranian Autoflowers now too! I figure I can grow those little cocksuckers pretty much anywhere since they are so stealthy, and will provide a good way to hype up my main harvest.
