Help Me Diagnose! Is It Nute Burn?

Hey everyone,

I was hoping to get your help on diagnosing the possible issues with these plants.

These plants are kept in a 5x5x7.5ft tent, have a fan blowing on them, and are kept at temps between 75-79 degrees F. They are in 3 gallon pots filled with happy frog soil and perlite mixture.

They are 3 1/2 weeks into veg cycle and have only been given nutes once. When they did receive nutes, they were only given B-52 and were given 1/2 the recommended dosage. They are watered about twice a week with PH tested water.

There seemed to be a very very minimal amount of spider mites on a couple plants so they were sprayed 3 times over the course of 5 days with Mighty Wash, during the light off stage.

The leaves seem to be developing some yellowish spots and some of the tips of teh leaves are drying and curling upwards.

Please hep me to diagnose whats going on here!

Thanks in advance20131214_190841.jpg20131214_190835.jpg20131214_190830.jpg20131214_190823.jpg20131214_190819.jpg20131214_190809.jpg20131214_190716.jpg

I think your Mighty Wash may be the issue. Check the directions to see if they recommend washing it off between coats.

I haven't used Happy Frog but understand it to be less hot than Ocean Forest and isn't B-52 more of a hormone product? Doesn't seem like these would get you to a nutrient burn if they survived the seedling stage unscathed.

Why would you think it was nutrient burn if you barely gave them any nutrients?

I would concur with the above post. It looks like physical damage.

The mites are a BIG problem. A minimal amount will turn into a substantial amount very quickly. I would address this first.

Well since you have mites of course I am going to say its mite damage...although ime there would be lots more dotted specks with mite damage......I use happy frog and have had low ph with it......runoff that is......I always mix lime with it now even though the bag says it has it in there....even with that I foliar spray epsom salt and root feed molasses for Cal/Mg..

.

That's why the look like crap. Dope plants don't like chemicals, oils soaps etc sprayed all over them. Also if you have a mite issue you need to do the whole area with bleach and water ,walls floor, cracks etc. Vacuum daily for 2 weeks.
