Help me get my grow under control / BOHDI GENETICS

I think I will add a second light and spread them out and move into flowering after they've recovered from this recent topping. I will begin my pre-flowering nutes this week. Now, I know in hydroponics you usually have to flush the system 2-3 weeks prior to the ending of flowering. How exactly does flushing work in soil? Do I just stop feeding them closer to the end of flowering and use PH balanced water?
Flushing is a real argument starting topic on here and folks seem split 50/50 on whether or not it's necessary.
Imo
If you feed as per normal through flower and just use ph water the last time before you prep to chop.
Soil is much more forgiving then hydro and either way you should end up with a nice fat harvest.
Good luck

The way I have been looking at it is treating Coco like hydro and almost feeding everyday if necessary. I use Cutting Edge and their feeding schedule says to flush at the end.

I guess it is personal preference.

Very much so
People swear by both
I've tried all the myths
Flush vs not flush
Dark for days vs no dark
I found very little difference tbh and it's often a lot easier for a new grower to fuk up drying and then the choices really are moot.
As I told her as she does more n more harvests she can try all the methods and find the ones she likes best and stick with them.

Hydro/DWC takes a week to flush. Your soil should be done over the 2/3 time period. Plenty of time to get you thru that.

BIG UPDATE:

May 7th is when i switched the lights into flowering
. They have been in flowering for 29 days and I have uploaded my progress below. I am having some coloration issue in the leaves obviously due to some deficiency. Any idea guys? Also, I had 7 plants in total and only 3 were males. I added another 600W LED so these pictures are 4 plants under two 600W LED. I expected a growth spurt in flowering but haven't really seen that. The limbs are definitely tilting and leaning from weight and they are pretty thick it seems.

Advice and opinions always welcome!

Thank you :)

Are you aware of the deficiency guide on grow weed easy . Com? You should check that out. Seems like you only have problems with the one plant. The rest it's kinda hard to tell, try and take pictures with just white light. I can see some down turned leaves so it could be nitrogen tox or overwatering but check out the page i said.
Im not an expert on diagnosing myself so take me with a pinch of salt.

Good grow so far!

These are pictures at day 37 of flowering. This is my first grow and TBH they are looking a little light on returns. In flowering do the buds actually grow the entire 8 weeks? I thought they really swell up in week 5 and 6 and then usually bud production comes to an end at this point. Do you think they will get any bigger? Strain: GSCxWookie. I am also having some weird nutrient deficiencies occuring or maybe that is the leaves discoloring due to the flowering process being almost over. Any advice or suggestions?

Buds will swell in the final 2 weeks that the most important part people chip too early and miss the swell. Don't be one of those!

Be happy, they just started. Buds getting most of theire weight within the last weeks, so relax atleast (2-)3 more weeks! Remember to feed 'em plain water within the last weeks. Let 'em die naturally. Coloring leaves are normal, remember how nature looks in october.

It's your first grow, so your problems have come from "too much". Too much nutrients, too much water, and in my opinion too much topping/training (for the first grow!).

They don't look so bad at all, so my advice wood be: RELAX! sing a song, dance around them, look how they grow, but reduce everything else ;)

High N for example (that how it looks like actually) will reduce buds getting bigger.
Lot of nutrients in the endproduct will result in harsh smoke.
Too much water, higher risk in budrot.

It's always easier to handle "a little too less", than "a little too much".

I don't see any signs of over feeding.... Not 1 burnt tip. Might ask about the Feeding B4 you start guessing. They show a Mag issue. That's about it.

How do you think they look for 37 days in?
Buds look really good for 37 days in, you should look into Scrogging next run....its my fav way to grow a plant to its maximum potential. I would start getting rid of the leaves that are yellowing or crisping up, and if you want the max potential out of your girls, I'd look into scrogging as a training method. I typically won't even start my scrog til I want to flower....i let them stretch through the net and tuck the branches for the first week of flowering or so. And I also don't use tratitional "grow nets" because the damn holes are too big. I like the plastic fencing you can find at home depot or lowes (its the same as taht orange construction fencing shit) I kind of show what I do in the link in my sig. Helps to take plants that are way toof ucking big to flower inside to a more manageable state :) Awesome first grow BTW

It's not guessing! But I am wondering what photos did you looked at?

Watch picture 3 and 6, you will definitly find burned tips! Picture 2, you can see leafs crawling. Also some glossy appearance at some plants.

So you may have some other opinion, but from what I can see, they are overfed, especially with nitrogene.

Magnesium may also be a ph-problem, and she wrote:
I am having a hard time adjusting PH for soil
So again, what I (just my little opinion) can SEE they don't have a deficency, for me it looks more like the beginning of a lock, due to wrong ph, or too wet (especially a problem in flowering time).

Nothing to be worried about, neither the N tox, but something to be aware of, to reduce/adjust the feeding.
