Help me hang my carbon filter..please

I have to hang up my carbon filter because if I dont do it now ill forget and never get to it. But anyway. Its a big cylinder and it came with 2 straps that youd let it sit in then tie to say the bar in a homebox grow tent. Only problem is my grow box doesn't have a bar. Just a flat piece of wood for a roof. Any ideas on how i could get it up there?


I was thinking maybe a staple gun but im not so sure if itll hold. The filters got 5 lbs of carbon in it. Id say it ways around 10-15 pounds.

How thick is the wood that the roof is made of? If it's strong enough to hold the weight, just get a couple of self tapping hooks from your nearest DIY shop. If the roof isn't strong enough, you'll have to put something up there that is.

Its like an inch think probably or something like that. Its strong enough though. Ill check that out though.
