Help Me Identify!

Now I'm not necessarily asking if they're Psilocybin (obviously, it'd be really, really cool of they are, but for some reason I doubt it). I'm asking here simply because while I do love (edible) mushrooms (that is: portobellos[sp?] and the like), I know next to nothing about them, so I'm hoping y'all here will know more.

Any help in identifying this strain (which is growing right outside my house... naturally) would be awesome. I actually believe it might be a poisonous strain. I just want to be sure.

Those look like real psychedelic mushies but they may also be look alikes so I strongly recommend finding a mushroom identifier (seeing them in person makes it much simpler to identify).

Sorry for the late response. I'm in Georgia, USA, kind of in the south, in East Cobb... not far from the Marietta Square.

I think they're dead/dying, now, :( but since school's started I have had no time whatsoever.

They do grow like that here every summer...

Here are more pictures... this first set I took about a couple days ago, I think:

This second set I took today... it confirms my worst fear, I think: they're either dead or dying (these I'll make thumbnails... click on 'em to see larger pics):

I know it's a bad mark on me that they've gone to waste, but school (Georgia Perimeter College) has kept me overly-busy and it only just started. Damn school keeping me sober...

Hey man be fucking careful picking wild mushrooms and eating them, just think if its poisonous is it really worth it just to trip for a few hours.

A good way to tell is psilocybin mushrooms will bruise blue, so give 1 a good hard flick with your finger, and start drying the rest while you watch if that one turns blue. But Many boletes also bruise blue. Many blue bruising boletes are poisonous, so unlesss your completly sure Id just leave em.

You should grow some at your home their easy as fuck to do.
