I wanted to check the levels of the different nutrients in my soil becuase the bottom leaves are turning yellow on my larger plant. The top leaves are still green. I have a 150 watt hps on my two plants but I also have a 24 inch fluorescent side light. Could this cause the bottom leaves to turn yellow? Anyway the test I got is from lowes. Its called master soil testing kit. The results are not numbers, they are in colors but here are the results. My pH is around maybe a little less than 7. My nitrogen level was low to medium. The phosphorus level is low and the potassium level is medium to hight. All these according to the chart in the kit. I know the chart wasnt made for the weed plant but what is my worst problem? Where do I start and how do I change the levels of what needs changing? I will have pics up a little later of the kit I used and my plants. I gotta get some more batteries.
