Well, ive germed up 8 seeds

3 are already popped out of the rockwool after a 30 hour soak in 77* water (didnt mean to soak that long but got really busy)

all have tails growing and 3 of them above the service and 1 is covered in a kind of fuzz and not growing really tall

dont know what to do as ive never seen this before and it is only like 1/2 inch above rockwool and growing really low

i really dont want to lose any of these seedlings and wondering if i should spray off with water or wipe it off or bury deeper in the rockwool

advice PLEASE

That white fuzz are the root hairs of the plant. Ideally you would want to make sure the whole root is in the rockwool. So all your seedlings should look more like your last picture. I'd suggest doing some more studying in the "learning how to grow sections" of riu. Or practicing on bag seed until you got everything down pat. Good luck

thanks for the feedback... that seedling is so long and stretched out compared to others to make me think something was wrong

all the seeds were originally planted in the bottom of the rockwool and one just gets a huge taproot i guess...

wow the seedling grew that far outta the rockwool from the bottom. It's best not to leave the roots exposed. You could bury the plant (cube & all) in dirt so as to cover up the exposed roots. Or you could maybe cut another cube in half and lightly sandwich the top part of the roots. Use string to keep it together until the roots grow into the new section. Or you could just leave it alone and it may be fine. Also seedlings will stretch to get light. Make sure your light source is close enough to the plant.

Im no expert but maybe your light is to far away like previously mentioned. What kind of light are you using and how far do you have it from your seedlings? If the one that looks good is closer to the light source and the ones that are stretching are further away that would make sense. A picture of your setup would help. Also maybe this link will help it is written for soil mediums but very very good info about placement and the germination/seedling process http://www.amsterdammarijuanaseeds.info/how-to-position-sow-cannabis-seeds-in-soil.html
