Can anybody please help..my Snow White buds are 2 days into the drying process and they got crispy and smell like hay...i have a grow cab that i cleaned out after harvest and hung my trimmed buds upside down...the temp has been from 66-70 degrees and humidity between 30 and 40%..i have one small computer size fan which is not blowing directly on the buds and also an exhaust fan..is the exhaust fan possibly making my buds dry too quickly??..is there anything i could do to prevent them from permanently smelling like hay?? any input would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like you are drying them too fast and they are not getting a full cure. i would stick them in jars and burping them a few times a day making sure that no mold starts growing

thats normal you loose alot of weight durning the cure process usally 70 to 80 percent but the grassy smell will go away after proper curing get them bad boys in jars and you will notice the smell soon

trust me i just went through the same thing as you . CURE CURE CURE!!! lol its not even worth it to smoke ANY until its properly cured. i know its going to be hard and tempting but i wasted over half my crop cuz i smoked before it was done curing. it didnt get me high so i had to smoke/waste so much of it just to get a buzz. now its probably 2-3 hits and your stoned.

Haha i can def relate to this, perfectly said... Im going through this point right now... Sucks bc the way i think about it is, well i grew it for this purpose so i dont have too buy it, to save money in the long run, but have to smoke more to get hizzle.
So i have bud at both stages now, smoked some that just finished drying upside down, and some shibby thats almost done curing... as soon as i took the gb of the cured shibby, i literally said OMG. The smoothness of the gb, the high that i got right away, and the taste....omg so sweet...
I wouldnt say to smoke or even let ur friends taste it without a cure, when u have th cure its like, "Aliright, taste this shit!"
