I'm running a aero systems that I built with a 50 gal
rez. Second week into flower my PPM starts out at
750 with AN 3 part and in two days the PPM drops to
600 ppm and 40 gal. Should I just add RO water or
should I add nute water? I also use cal mag. Thanks

Sounds like your babys are hungry and could use a lil more nutes. Are they lighter green or darker?

Up it gradually till you see little to no change in ppm's day to day

(id add water + nutes)

Thanks. I will bump it up next rez change but i read
that its not good to add nutes on top of old nutes
because it may cause lockout. Any thoughts.

They look good to me definitely not dark green.

I do it all the time.. the rule of thumb is dump your res after youve added back the original full amount of water.

I agree They are eating a good amount of nutes. I would top off with a 1/4 to 1/2 strength solution and on the next res change I would increase the solution by a 1/4 more and see if that helps with ur ppms fluctuating You want your ppms to stay steady give or take This will tell you how much u can feed them before burning them with a strong solution Every strain is different and requires different ppms
