My first dog ever, thankfully hell have a huge garden to run around in plus too many trails for us to explore when he gets older. However i really cannot pick a name for him. I would welcome and thank any suggestions. So far the names im considering are Buba Oudji Edi or Jay, lame names for a dog? I also thought a Catalan name would be in order...

Im well fond of Kilo, bricks is a fucking top name though!!! However read online best to end names on a vowel. Also like Dozer, but id switch the z to s and give it a Dealer's name lol Doser.
Thanks for input!!

Doser was my rotty's name but it was pronounced with the Z sound, that why I said Dozer. It was changed at the human society from Dosha, the previous owner was a dealer that got popped.

Im ignorant as to what the human society is and what popped means(killed?). But hey funny you had a dog posteriorly called dozer who belonged to a dealer, thats just blissful. I might have to go with that due to the background story.
Since ive found someone who previously owned one would be nice to have some information. everyone keeps telling me that rotties are very agressive and do what they want and that i will HAVE TO hit him to show whos the boss and to demand respect. Im such a peaceful person i cannot imagine myself doing that, plus all i find online is evidence of the contrary. How was your dozer? Was he trained? Did you train with him? How much exercise do they really need?

thanks

Cameron, "cam" or "cammy" for short
I used to live in Scotland and everyone was called either cameron or callum, and even a few turkey are called Angus believe it or not! Imagine being named after beef. haha I dont want to thinkof my dog as a Scot, i love the Scottish people, Just dont want my dog to grow up to eat deep fried pizza and to be able to speak an english only acceptable in Scotland. lol I do like cammy though

My male Rotti's name was Hanz.

Hans is a good name. Means: Gift from God

Remove the S and sub a Z = Hanz

Definition Urban: a thug like gangsta who likes to pimp hoes. Also known as a manwhore. Hanz

:peace:

Humane society, my bad, a kennel for misplaced or unwanted animals. My Doser was awesome. I had 3 rotties and they definitely had personality differences. They can be a lot of dog if not trained properly. I live on a farm so my dogs have a lot of space to run so I'm not really sure how'd they do cooped up.

Edit: By popped I mean busted by the cops.

your Rott will adopt your peaceful ways.Only violent ,ignorant twats must hit or be rough with the dog they are training.I believe hitting your dogs undermine the trust they arelearning to put into you.I've had rotts and pits.Never had to even raise my voice much less my hand

Learn to read before calling people idiot. The last thing id want is to hit my dog, I love dogs so much i waited until i could afford a big house with a huge garden. Im simply trying to get information from like minded people about rottweiler ownership. You sir do not seem that and i would appreciate you removing yourself from this discussion and perhaps even apologising, thats what i would do after being so rude.
