Hi all.

Im 34 day's into flower. And some of my plant's are burning on the top fan leave's. My AC unit went down for like 3 hour's and the temp raised to 38 degrees C.....

Could this be caused by heat stress, over nute.... etc etc.....

Im using COCO pro and CANNA nutes....

Light's 3 x 600w hps and 4 x 125 cfl red spec.

24 plant's in total......

Area 5m square...

Some leaves are also yellowing and getting eagle's claw...

Any help would be very much appriciated on solving this problem and rectifying it..

+ rep for anyone who can help......

Thank's in advance..

Dan

Thank's for the info......

This happened in like a 24 hour period that is my concern.. I have lifted the light's to 30 " above the plant's...

just done a little research and the problem may have been that when the AC was not running and the temp's rose to 38DC the moisture may have been sucked out faster than the plant could consume.... So, you think they should be ok..... Suppose only time will tell.......

You may also wanna add a little cal/mag............. cause at the stage your at, the plants will use alot and show deficiences................add it to your solution you got running now and keep using it till ya flush............what's your PH & PPM anyways...........plus what was your tank temps when the a/c shut off.......................

PH 5.7 - 6.1

No tank im using COCO coir.....

CANNA nute's...

Some of the plant's look pail in colour. Like it has a (N) dif.... Do you think it could be lacking the (N) thus causing the cal/mag dif?

COCO needs cal/mag. Talk to someone who runs coco, im sure theyll tell you the same.
Thank's for the reply Infamous. i did some research today and your right about the coco needing magnesium and calsium as an addative. just purchase both from ebay.( CANNA product line ) should be here monday. I also have CANNA nitrogen that came today but im only going to use it at 1/4 strength of recommended dose on the plant's that are light green.

Thank's mate.

PSST, COCO leaches onto to calcium and Magnesium I have had to always add a cal-mag product with my coco coir been growing 5yrs strong in coco.Check out my journal I have a whole page on identifying deficiencies in coco coir...
Start with 5.5 to 5.6 ph R.O. water let set for 30 mins to hr and check ph again flush well with for 4 to 6 day.Yellowing is ok better than nutz stress then add your nutz at 500 to 600 ppm I use 75ml of cal mag with 4.9 gallons of water this will raise your ppm to about 800 to 850ppp FEED .I feed once a week and water with 5.5 ph water 0ppm as needed
Also I am growing 6 diff strains there was two strains that had nutz lock up in first week of flowering I flush as explained problem solved girls are loaded with trichromes a week later.pictures to prove.
Good LUCK and Happy growing

Make sure you don't give too much Nitrogen to your plants if they are far into the flowering phase. It is normal for them to start 'yellowing up' as they near the end of budding. You shouldn't try to 'fix' this with fertilizer. The plant should start getting yellowing, then browning and falling off of the older fan leaves. Don't cut these leaves off when they turn yellow, wait until they fall off on their own or come off with VERY little pulling.

I do agree with using the Cal/Mag treatment, just don't give them any more Nitrogen.

Personally looking at that picture I'd say your plant is doing great. The leaf damage was probably caused by it being over 100 degrees F in there, which won't happen again as long as your AC keeps working! ;)

Thanks guys. Some great info....

Im using CANNA Cal/Mag with my feed now. I have to feed 5 liters to each pot to create some run off. Quick sum 5 x 24 = 120 PH6 water.

So my feed is..

Total water/feed In Generative Fruit cycle....12/12

120 liters PH6 water ( left out for 24 hours + ) @ 5 liters per pot.

CANNA.....A....................... = 300 ml
CANNA.....B....................... = 300 ml
CANNA.....Rhizotonic........... = 60 ml
CANNA.....Cannazym.......... = 300 ml
CANNA.....Boost................. = 480 ml
CANNA.....Magnesium......... = 60 ml ( as and when needed )
CANNA.....Calsium.............. = 60 ml ( as and when needed )

EC reading 1.8

So i should be adding full strength Cal/Mag with every feed... ?

I use accelerated dose I use atleast 15ml per gallon so 75 ml for 4.9g water jugs,will take about 4 days to 6 days to notice if you need to add more.yes I use every feeding and if some of your strains want more every other watering.
