Help new guy here.

So im having an issue getting my girls to point up high like ive seen others do.

Im doing a DWC in my closet. 750 watts with an AC keeping room to 77 to 80 degrees F. With RH of 75-80%

I have a good PH swing going. Roots looks healthy just can't get them to stand.

Also have C02 bag in closet. Light is about 20 inchs from highest point of plant. Any suggestions im open to learn.

I suggest moving the light down to 15 inches. As long as the temp at the top of the plant is not too hot. Place your hand above the plant. As long as its not burning your skin it will not burn the plants.

Your lights are to close 750w is alot for plants that small. Look at comerical grow ops. There 1000 are mounted then not raised or lowered. They let the plants grow up to the light. I veg under 315 cmh (replaces abought 550w of hid lighting) the light is 5 ft over. The seeds are planted under the light and stay untill im ready to flower them.

I can drop my ballast to 600 W? Should I?

I would also raise it. If your only 20 inches away your plants have no room to grow. Less is allways better in your garden. Dont feed enough notice a deficiency feed more and they recover in 24 to 48 hours. Feed to much it can take 7 to 10 days to recover if ever. Under water they droop. Water them they are fine in a couple hours. Over water... Well i cant even begin to list all the problems that causes. To much light at minimum they arnt happy you will slow them down and get leaf miniaturization. Leaf burn bleaching and foxtailing at worst. Not enough light they start to stretch. Easy fix drop the light a bit or turn it up

Next questions.

Co2 bag. Remove during 6 hour peroid of rest?

When do i start super cropping (roughly)

In your opinion is starting every fresh reservoir change at a PH of 5.5 to let it swing up to 6.2 so all nutes are received?

Tomorrow ill be changing from 2 rubbermaids to 1 giant one so i only have to worrie about 1 reservoir. Again i cant thank you all enough and will take all suggestions.

If that is your only issue then your doing just fine, A healthy hydro system will swing up slightly , I change mine once a week , on monday it will be set new at 5.8 , on the next monday 7 days later it is up to about 6.25. Your plants will tell you when to change your light height, if they are doing fine at 20 inches you could try to lower it a little bit but it could cost you burning or bleaching if you were already at the optimum line . Whats the size of your area? As a general rule you need 60w per square foot for co2 to be usefull.... 3X3 needs 540w 4x4 needs close to 1000w. If your area is 3x3 having under 500w makes co2 useless....unless..... If your in a sealed gerden with no air exchange you need co2 just ro replace what the plants are useing but you will not get any added growth. Just leave the bag in. Mycelium co2 bags arnt going to stop putting out co2 just because you take it out so may as well leave it in. Supercroping depends on grower preference. I hst early and often

don't be afraid of youtube there a wealth of information. try to see what the legal commercial growers are doing and there you go. I have never seen an indoor grow with the lights at optimal distance during veg. not until mid flower when the plant stops growing taller are the lights at closest distance to plant.

Now thats a toughy! Its so har to diagnose a dificiency from a pic. One looks very much like another. Another pronlem is to much of one nutrient can effect the uptake of another. I can tell you the first step of diagnoses is determining if the deficiency is mobile or immobile. Being on a bottom leaf i would say its moble. That said when you have that figured out pluck the offending leaf. Being a mobil deficiency if it is not fixed a new leaf or leaves will start chlorosis.

deleafing is fine but dont over do it, and dont wait untill the second week of flower and do it all at once. I pull a few leaves almost every watering i only pull canopy leaves if it is blocking a top from direct light. Usually i take them from the bottom.
Just started a new journal if you want to check it out
