Hi all, i was wondering if any of you could please give me some pointers/ tips.

After winter break my roomates and i are thinking of purchasing a stealth hydroponics bubbleponics system and growing. Has any1 used this system? If so, is there any tips or pointers we should know or do differently then what they say? ( please keep the technical jargon to a minimal, i really am a noob at this)
We've seen alot of people building there own.... but it just seems so easy and split a few ways its only like $70 a person. Costs $200
SH Hydroponics > Bubbleponic Kits

Questions. Im just gonna throw these out there.

How long does it take from planting, to harvesting? does it depend on the strain... we were thinking of purchasing some seeds off the internet.. Does any1 have any suggestions as to which 1 to purchase and which to avoid? White widdow?

Should we be trimming the plants? About how much will we yield? Ive heard they can crowd... should we not plant in all 6 potters? Thanks so much all!

Also.. if any1 has any suggestions(perhaps success story?) using another method other than this hydroponics perhaps aero im all ears!

hmm. will it come with lights? ph kit? nutes? because the bubbleponics thing does. Could u answer some of my other questions? Like how long from seed to cultivate (average). Or any suggestions on a good starter strain? for beginers. Thanks again

You need to search the forums for most of those answers. Also, you are better off buying a cheap kit on ebay and the buying the lights and clamp fixtures from home improvement store. You should buy rockwool and pH tester, etc from hydro store or online hydro store. That kit is just going to give you cheap pH test strips.

Hey, for 200 bucks it will get you started. You'll end up buying plenty of other stuff as you go along.
If none of you have ever grown before, then why not start off with bag seed. Buy a bag of seeded pot, and try to germinate some. Or ask around, many people have a few seeds saved from "a really good bag."

Once you get started, you'll have failures, you'll start again. You'll learn, then you can get some good genetics.

Finally, to answer the questions you want, growing small plants in the system you describe, you'll get a half an ounce per plant, and it takes 5 months for the cycle.

HTH

Whats the difference between the one you've linked and this one (apart from the bucket size and price tag)?

Is 5 months right? Isn't Hydro faster than soil which only takes 2 months?
