And guess what, The calibration solutions were taken out (due to shipping rules). Both ppm calibration and ph calibration were taken out as no liquids are allowed to be shipped!!!!

I spent a fortune on the HANNA EC/TDS/PH tester (US$.260).

Anything I can do?

thats a load of bullshit. i have liquids shipped to me all the time and i have also recently order a hanna gro check and mine came with calibrating solutions.i think you should contact whoever you ordered from and demand that they send you the rest of the packages contence as it is supposed to come with that stuff and now it is an incomplete product.also if you ordered with a credit card or paypal you can dispute the charges and get your money back because the product was not received as described

you can buy them at a hydro store, they arent really that expensive. like 2 bucks for a packet, which is probably what they were going to send you, like 15 bucks for a bottle of it.

Seriously, don't go through all that headache just for a ph calibration solution. I went to a local pool/spa supply place and they had it. I think I pay like $13.00 for both of them.

You can also pick up ph test strips if they have nothing else and see if they match what your ph meter says for given samples of water. You won't be able to calibrate it this way, but it will give you an idea of whether or not it needs calibration right away. This obviously isn't the most accurate or recommended way of deciding what to do, but in a pinch it will at least tell you IF your meter is off, just not by how much and you won't be able to fix it.

The shop itself that sold it to you. Regardless if you can pick the stuff up cheap. You were suppost to get it with that package. I would be calling them up demading it too. You paid for it and didn't get it. Why should you have to waste your time, gas(to drive to get some) and more money for something you should have gotten in the first place. Not like you bought a $20 meter here.

There's no doubt that's true here. You should have gotten the calibration solution and it's up to you if you want to contact them and get it.

I personally wouldn't want to wait 3 more days to test the ph of my water, but I'm not sure if you are starting a grow. If you have a few more days to wait for the solution contact the shop and have them send it out to you, if not, just go pick it up.

This doesn't even sound like a question I would really have to ask a forum full of people.
