Help ph way too high

hey i have a vary vary basic dwc setup, and i just checked my ph and it was over 8...from what i hear it should only be like 5....i hear if it passes 6 to worry.....well im past 8......so any help would be greatly apreciated....thanx

5.8-6.5 for hydroponics 6-6.8 for soil

just water with a lower ph'd water to adjust the ph levels

Purchase Ph low I think lemon or vinegar works to get ph down if you don't have any ph low,I would just buy ph low for safest route

i dont have a hydro store anywhere near me....is there anywhere i can go like target or walmart??? or should i just do as he said and just add the water???thanx for help

you can get a ph test kit on ebay for 16.95 that includes a bottle of up and down,,......but beware! ive used 2 diff kits so far and reading ph of those little fadeing color charts is far from accurate, so i bought a didital ph tester!!!
