My first plant ever is about 6 days old and appears to have some sort of mite on it. I believe it's spider mites because they're very small, white, and appear to be spiders. You can hardly see them but what can i do to prevent and kill them? This plant is a micro grow so it's been on 12/12 since seed it's only about 2 inches tall and it's first node of leaves is coming in, please help!

I had spider mites on large plant of mine and i went out and got FoxFarm's "Dont Bug Me" spray. Seemed to helped stop the problem. Not sure as to whether or not how young the plant is would be affected by the spray. I dont think so. Anyone else's opinion on this???

mites usually cause a little white spots on the leave at first them as the infestation progresses you will begin to see webs. at 6 days old mites are a real factor. if you have pests at the onset it will hinder your growth substancially

well they don't seem to have made any marks on the plant and i haven't really seen any webs or anything, they seem to be under the soil cuz i only noticed them when i moved a piece of soil that looked kinda hard and dry and they were under it, i checked today and i haven't seen anything. I'm definatly goina see if i can get my hands on any of those organic sprays though
