Help...question about air pumps / bubblers

I'm running two 18 gallon rubbermaid totes. How big of an air pump do I need? I assume it will be easier to run 2 pumps (one for each tote). Also...as far as air stones....should I use the long narrow stones or maybe 3 of the large round ones in each tote?

if you look on ebay, you can find comercial pumps that will supply ten lines (35-80w) for 50-100$ shipped. if you plan on going with individual buckets in the future, one of these would be a great investment.

also, are you growing from seed? if so, you may want to rethink your plan; by the time the plants show sex, the roots will be a tangled mess, and you won't be able to sepparate, and even if you do, some of the male's roots will stay in with the females, and eventually cause root rot.

i only do more than one plant per container if i'm using slips, and even then, i'd only do it with a 100% indica.

sativa's, due to size, should also have thier own bucket, imo.... consider 5g buckets instead of the rm tote.

hmm, I did not know that. I was planning on 2 plants per container :confused:
