Help!! setting up stealth grow room first time indoor grower!!

Im planning to set up a grow room in my closet. It is 2ft wide 3 1/2ft long and 7ft tall. I have only grown outdoors so i have no experience with indoor growing. I am not sure what to use for lighting/ventilation. I am going to home depot next weekend to get supplies but am clueless on what to get so can you guys help me out? I dont have much money and this grow room is stealth because i have roommates and i dont know if their cool with this so i need to know what to get to make this work... thanks alot guys your help is much appreciated!

On a tight budget look into useing CFL's for lighting.

anybody else have any other suggestions?

im gonna go soil but how much lighting do you think is needed? i was thinking a 250w cfl but idk what to do about ventilation any ideas?

if you have $500 get a 600hps cooltube setup w/ valuline 4" fan, it will rage.

if you're broke and stealth like you say... CFL might be a better idea. 250w CFL is what like 16w real? the 40w CFLs are like $17 each and I think much bgger than that just is too hot for what it is.
