Hmm I've been vegging for 5 1/2 weeks if you look close on the pic of the internode you can see a very small ball looking growth these are growing on almost every internode just a little worried about it

I saw that too, that first pic looks a bit like a pollen sack. But as everyone else said it's still to early. Wait a bit longer and you'll know for sure

The only thing I can add is I've been told that all blueberry strains well hermi on ya. I have grown skunk blueberry and the 4 that I grew did. I don't know if the hermi thing is true or not. Could be just me.

That could still turn out to be a female flower.... I had a bag seed plant that looked like it was male at first...but then two pistils came out and joy was to be had (and boy did I enjoy her smoke!).

hrm... as soon as you can tell the sex you want to flip back... but doing whole plant testing like this will put stress on the girl. You could have taken a clone (if the plant was mature enough) and run it under 12/12. not a fan of 24/0 here... always 18/6 and may try stepping lighting down from 18/6 to 12/12 in the future. Have to research that more first though. As noted above, patients is a key factor in this game... but also very rewarding!

seeing preflowers all depends on the enviorment. if the plant is able to grow to a size where it is sexually mature it will show preflowers in as soon as 4 weeks, usually this is not the case.

they do look like pollen sacs but i cant be 100% sure on that as like numerous others have stated its simply too early. One thing i have come to figure out is alot of times new growth can look like male flowers starting to form, so be patient and wait it out. you will know when the little balls start to cluster up. or in a better scenario you see that white pistol hair coming out :)

good luck m8

Blueberry is a very stable variety. While part of it is a thai sativa that was prone to hermaphroditism, DJ Short bred that tendency out.

Blueberry is my favorite. I have grown it a bunch of times and it has never thrown bananas or hermied on me.
I did stress a grow and had one plant turn on me at the end, but the Blueberry took the stress like a champ.

My only complaint with blueberry is the stems are a bit snappy, so you have to be careful when scrogging.

Other than that, I recommend it to newbs because it is so forgiving, yields well and is great weed.

I have a Blue Moonshine going, which is just a reworking of Blueberry by DJ Short.
