Hi All,
I have a bunch of plants in the forest and for awhile now something is eating holes all over the leaves. can't really see anything on the leaves with the naked eye but something is coming out.
i have sprayed with parathion 50. and it didn't seem to kill whatever it is. i also have End all.
here is a pic. can anyone please tell me what it could be? Any help very appreciated! IMG442.jpg

aphids don't eat leaves, they suck fluids out from the plants.

That looks like something bigger, I'm guessing caterpillar, grasshopper or something else. In either case I'd spray some neem and check the plant completely, stems, leaves everything.

Hey Dude.. Yuh gotta look!! Take a maginfying glass with you. Check the undersides of the freshly eaten leaves and look for frass which is a cool name for catipillar turd. You should be able to ID the bastards!! Doesn't look like leaf sucking aphids or spider mites but just make up your own insecticidal soap if it is. Couple of tablespoons of dish soap and a couple of drops of oil and you are good to go. Smothers them but the only problem is you don't get to buy it.

I agree,
Aphids don't leave holes, they scrape the leaves, usually on the bottoms and new leaves, then suck the plant juices out. Look for tiny worms or other a-holes, I bet you can find the culprit. then you can find the thing he hates most and cover him with it.
Ha Haaaa!

I had the same thing. I had White fly and Aphids I got some spray by SAFER its a organic spray that kills insects and can be used up to the day of harvest. was never sure which bug made the holes but the spray fixed it killed all bugs with in 3 is days.

Your local hydro store or True Value would have it and it cost about 10 bucks :bigjoint:

Oh and the neem oil is a great choice as well

Lol that would be a tiny deer! Like the mini giraff in that one commercial. Like 6 inches tall lol!
Ha! I always wanted to somehow get a tiny horse 8 inches tall. Let him live in my closet, and then when my friends came over and we got stoned, I'd be like "Hey guys, look at this in the closet," and open the closet. Would blow their minds.

Looks like grasshopper holes to me. I just found a freaking huge one today, ate half of my poor Pandora. Time to break out the big guns...
