Not sure what this is.....using half the recommended nutes just to be safe cause their small still



And what is that slime in the plug there?????

Not sure if its that critical but my buddy let the water get low enough for at least 24 hours that the roots were exposed to air....just below those cups.....like maybe 3/4 of an inch.

those were beautiful vibrant plants a week ago and they just dying......Ive used a TDS meter and made sure that the PPM was going down and not concentrating so I didnt think they could get burned as long as the nute concentration is going down every day and not increasing?????

Allthough......if the plants were thriving a week ago on the same water source.....which is distilled water....it seemed to me that ph wasnt the cause......they were growing like crazy in the distilled water with half nutes.......then bam....dying.....Any idea what the slime in the pot is from

sounds like root rot if your saying its like a "slime"...

Did you look at the second pic....on top of the wool block.....what is that??????????
Looks like algae bro, I would say add some hydrogen peroxide to your water and take dankster's advice about the ph.
If the algae dies then you could add some compost tea to the water to prevent it from happening again.

I agree. 100%. Either algae, or slime(root rot). 1 of the 2. :) Like you stated, the HP works great 4 this.
