Hi there

I am an arthritis patient in SK and having real trouble finding a doctor nearby. My primary physician says he won't sign for MMJ but he will refer me to another doctor that is willing to/has more experience prescribing marijuana.

I can't and don't want to pay $400 bucks for a Skype doctor unless I really am left with no more options coz that is just wrong asking for such bucks. I want to get into the MMPR program asap as I really need a reliable source of meds (seems like I'll have to choose my LP very carefully too)

If anyone can provide me with any info about helpful doctors in Saskatchewan or Alberta please shoot me a message, my arthritis thanks you!! :) I am in Regina but I'll drive anywhere reasonable

I am one of the fortunate few who has a family doctor that is willing to sign... I would try to do a lot research on here and Google but honestly.. Payment is likely going to be one of few options unfortunately.. Sorry to hear about your troubles.. Maybe someone else on here from the area has a better option!

Lol I'm sure there is if you get the right cop.
federal law...not legal and could be confiscated with no charges...but most cops today would not care ( they told me my 30 plant yard was not what they wanted...they want the guys who bust out big)...at least where I live...;)

I think the prairies has been said on here to be a wasteland of compassionate Doctors. In other words there are few that will sign. This comes from folks on here who live there I believe.
But this is a good start to finding one as someone here may share that with you I hope.

Did you read the thread about the legal patient getting put in jail over a joint. Even with proper documentation. The law also says that it doesn't punish anything under an ounce. Same as it says it doesn't punish anything under 6 plants.

I hope so too, hopefully someone can spare me from going the Skype route and getting price gouged. I cannot risk growing and furthermore, even if I started growing it would be a while before I had any medicine, I'd rather get it from a quality LP (if they exist out there ;) )
