HELP! Tiny Buds in Coco!! EC problem? Heat Stress? PICS!

Hey guys, long time lurker here. Been reading heaps of guides and had really good results with soil grows in the past! First time growing in coco though, and i'm having a slight problem with the flowering.

I'll post pics below, but my main issue is tiny popcorn buds all around :-( Even the main cola's aren't looking that dense, I was wondering what you guys think about my grow.

I'm about week 7 or 8 in the cycle and it's not looking like other grow journals do. Especially in coco!

(Note 1: Checked trichomes for ambering, nothing yet, if anything, just a few cludy/opaque trichs)

(Note 2: I had high EC levels at around 3.6, which were probably there for about a week or two; I've flushed them since with cannazym only, and started adding the coco nutes again, with a total EC of 1.3 higher than my tap water)

Set up is as follows:

1x 130W CFL (2700K)
1 x 60W CFL (6000K)
1 x 55W CFL (5000K)

The tallest plant is about 2 or 3 inches away from the 130W CFL, while the others are probably at at least 8 inches away.

Nutes all at this stage:

Canna Coco A + B: 3 mL each per litre
Canna Rhizotonic: 0.5 mL per litre
Canna PK 13/14: 2 mL per litre (stopped using after a week as directed)
Cannazym: 2.5 mL per litre

Temps are usually at 29 degrees celsius (or about 85 degrees Fahrenheit), I have a small fan running during the whole 12 hours of light.

Any advice would be awesome.

Now that i've flushed and got the EC levels back to normal again, can I expect them to pick up and fill out? Or is that it for them? :(

Thanks guys!

In my humble opinion, I don't think you have enough light to get much bigger buds. With less light your plants aren't going to finish as fast as, say, an HID light would. The main thing I notice is a micro-nutrient lock out. This is most likely caused by a cal-mag deficiency. Coco causes this cal-mag def. That's what the curling is. So, in other words, you need to approach this from a couple angles. I would up your light for the next round, and run a little cal-mag all the way through veg and bloom. Try to get your temperatures down just a little as well.

Hope this helps,

Yeah dude it has to be not enough light. Cfls (IMO) are a waste of time unless, you have about a total of 700 actual watts running.

What's the strain? I've had buds do this under goddamn 1000 watts. *shakes fist at Greenhouse Seeds*

Hey guys, thanks for your replies!

I looked at the Canna coco nutes again, and it has plenty of Calcium and Magnesium o_O So, i'm thinking there may have been some lockout due to the high EC levels :( So, hoping it picks up now that I've stabilised them again.

Thought i'd go with a budget grow with these CFL's, but now i'm seriously considering going with the MH and HPS lights.

The strain is Blueberry :) Kinda a tough strain to grow, tends to hermie alot unless conditions are 100% :/ But it's flavour and smell are awesome :D
