Help!!! Want To Grow Shrooms!!

tghe best way to hurry jars is to put them under a blanket or a thick towel in a dark closet andf leave them alone of 2 weeks then check remove foil tape or whatever you have over the holes in the lid they do need air. let the mycelium grow all the way around the substrate then wait a week to birth trust me if you wait the extra week you will be pleased

Idk if the 4 you birthed were colonized all the way through. If they were great, hope for the best. The other ones you just need to put somewhere warm and dark. Remember 3 key things cause mycellium to fruit. Light, fresh air exchange, and a tempature drop. So say you keep the rest of your jars under a blanket in closet until 110% colonized, then birth them into your terrarium that you keep at room tempature. Then in a few days you should see pins. Remember than mushroom cultivation takes alot of time, and ALOT of patience. Good luck with your grow and don't let anything discourage you from someday harvesting the fruits of your labor!

kinda what i wanted to hear. i have those others in my attic and under some heavy black plastic. there seems to be alittle improvement so i hoping for the best.
as for the others, i'll just wait and see and if i get good results i will update and postpics.

Wow, dude you are making it to hard on yourself and way expensive, all this oven crap doesnt seem too promising. I would without pause scrap that techque . look you need 6 cups verm, 3 cups brown rice flour, 3 cups water mixed in a large bowl, evened out in 12 half pint widemouth mason jars with four small holes drilled or hammered in lid, cover lid with foil so water does nt dip in. place in pressure cooker/canner at 15lb for 45 min.(old folks and grandmas have pressure cookers ask to borrow one)** important heat tip of needle with lighter red hot before injecting into each jar, let cool a min after heating. otherwise contaminates will fuck up your world. -

there's so many things that can go wrong.

the PFTEK instructions are very clear and concise. i suggest following the PFTEK word for word. get a pressure cooker and all the supplies, wasting money on spores isn't fun.

experimentation on the first grow might not be successful

what do u mean are my jars dried up?? idk when i took em ou they were like dry not moist. but on 1 -of the jars there is like a white casting on the side of the jar, i think thats mycellium

wheres a good place to get brown rice flour at????

do they have it at walmart?

it starts on the side if its white its good unless its mold LOL if you seen green thats a bad sign but sometimes the shroom spores with be able to kill the other kinds of bacteria.

Alright so it should start turning like white on the side then and slowly the whole jar will turn white ??

okay soo has ne one ever eaten golden teacher shrooms? do they make u trip hardcore? cuz when these shrooms grow i wanna know how much i have to eat in order to be a FUCKED UP

OK i am going to help out some of you guys because the spores in a petri dish have low success rates the kits that have spores on a cottonswab and the rice is the ones you want after it fills up with mycelium they have a bag of cow shit and you transfer it into there those are more reliable and are less likely to grow the wrong type of mold (green or black)

what are the scientific name of the shrooms you have spikey i would be able to tell you how potent they are but if you got psilosybe cubensis those are definatley worth eating they are one of the most potent

I don't think anyone mentioned using petri dishes in this thread, if they did my bad. I also don't think anybody mentioned using a kit either. I'm pretty sure everyone here grew there's from scratch.

Like that's not illegal lol. I know they make em but I didn't think you could get em in the US. Even if you could I wouldn't risk buyin that lol.

i have bought my kits from head shops around town and if your not using kits the only other way i no is to put them on some kind of dish so that the spores grow and my kits have had 100% grow rate
