My main cola is ready to come down but the smaller lower buds are not. What do I do?

cut the main cola off and let the rest mature !!!!

yeah just take off the cola and depending on how long left you have if its just a few days then let it do its thing if its longer twist the top of the stem where you cut it to try and seal the stamen so air doesn't get in or the plant wont pull water up it will just dry out but that may be a good thing if its only a few days

cut any done colas then try to get the others exposed to as much light as possible. ive heard people say you should start decreasing light time to 10 hrs a day to make em finish cuz they will stop growing and just ripen up when u take off the top. dunno if its true but it sounds like a bad idea to me. any old pros have any info on it? whats ur opinion on it?
