*HELP* what's wrong with this plant? did i overwater it?

I recently bought a dwc system and i been trying to grow as much out of this plant i found in the woods nearby my house. I'm guessing it was planted in dirt from the start and it didnt grow much at all, it's still too small to bud it. When i was removing it from the pot i guess a few of the roots we left behind , but there was still some so i just placed it in the hydroton. Since im new to DWC im not very sure of the water level for a 5 gallon bucket, and the roots should take a little while until they stay coming out of the net pot(if they do come out...) so how much water should i use for now?, and as it grows more should i start using less water?
I'm also using nutes(Technaflora kit), i currently have 3 gallons of water im my resevoir, it should be touching the net pot if not its close, i should say 1 inch below or above not sure... and im only using 2x 5600k CFL's?

can any one help me sort this out... did i overwater the plant, nute burn????

you need to water that plant from the top until you get roots growing out of the net pot, some use a pump in there res hooked to some irragation tubeing with drippers on the end and water that way.you need to water it the roots are in dry hydroton,no matter how much bubbles you got they wont reach the roots. good luck

Does anyone think that the plant looks to be in the flowering stage already? He did say it was outside...

Yeah that does look like it could be over watered.. I have seen mine wilt like they were dying before and it was from over watering... let it dry out and get some oxygen to the roots and you should be ok... good luck and don't over water again if that turns out to be the problem.

Looks like a heavily flowering clone.

Grab a spare rockwool cube, nestle it into the hydroton to work as a moisture meter of sorts, then just keep raising the water level until it remains damp. The airstones bubbles should be strong enough that they create small splashes at the surface. This will keep the rooting area nice and moist.

Personally i'd bin it and just grow a seed. I'd also not go back to that plant again, that grower is probs a bit pissed.
