i would like to put 4x 600 watt lights in a 2x2x2 metre tent that will not have air cooled shades and need some help with working out how much extraction and intake i will need to keep temps at around 26c-27c.

any idea anyone?

8 cubic meters= 282,5 cubic feet .
so a fan extracting 300 cfm would be good i belive. but still i would get a 500-700 cfm atleast with a speed controller. as carbonfilter, ducting, duct bends ect lowers the fans real cfm.

cant get my head around the math atm as im high as fuck but i belive its accurate..

thanks crazeehaze, took me a while to convert the m3 per hour to cfm and i have an 812cfm and a spare 6" extractor at about 250-300cfm just incase.

I'm pretty confident that an A/C will be requierd in order to keep the temp right.

Your tent will not hold 4 lights. Unless you built it custom, they simply aren't made for that kind of weight. 1 600 Watt light would be perfect for a tent that size.

what you need....

...is an aircurtain effect.

trying to extract that much air through such a small space will give your ladies transpiration problems... which will look like underfeeding.
you could get a bad ass humidifier with a bad ass RH monitor/controllerto overcome that, but then you would taking the risk of budrot in late flower.
not sure if that tent is the ideal candidate for an aircurtain though. im thinking the pos pressure would blow the sides of the tent out.
and on that note, <800 cfm running extraction may also collapse or cause the sides to balloon, from the neg pressure.
