Can you use 400 watt enclosed ballast hps in a grow tent with no cool tube?
I'm looking for advice on grow tents and ventilation. I posted in indoor growing no one replied so i thought i put it in the wrong forum
Before i purchase a tent i need to know if a grow tent approximately 3 x 3 x 6 running a 400 watt hps enclosed ballast and a 171 cfm inline fan, could stay under 90. With room temperature at 80. Are enclosed ballasts systems, with no cool tube to hot for grow tents? I haven't seen one on here without a cooltube.
I cant afford to buy a tent and still have heat issues. I'm running a small cfl grow for the time being.
Please help!!!
i need to solve this issue soon. I have a hps but cant use it because heat builds up in closet.I tried venting it with inline fan but theres no way to properly intake air so its basically sucking out hot air from the closet and in taking partial cool air and hot air from around the sliding doors. Im trying to understand the nature of ventilation. How many times a minute does the air in the tent have to be cleared to keep it close to room temperature
